Did you know that John Cena is a Rotarian? In fact, he is one of Rotary's polio ambassadors, along with another celebrity, Kristen Bell. This was something I found out about a week ago, and with a quick Google search I found out that there has been a lot of famous people who have been Rotarians. Since Rotary International's founding over a hundred years ago in 1905, a lot of celebrities, world leaders, businessmen, and people from all sorts of different backgrounds were Rotarians. This list includes former presidents like Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Woodrow Wilson, royalty like Prince Charles, businessmen like Colonel Sanders, and the founder of Walmart, Sam Walters, and even the Pope! The list goes on and on, and it was really interesting to me how diverse and far-reaching Rotary has been.
