Hey all, Luigi here. I realized earlier today that I’ve never written an introductory post for “Luigi’s Corner” on this blog. I thought I’d do one right now because you know, “better late than never.”
First, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Luigi Sayson. I am a second year computer science major, this is my second year in Rotaract and I am also the current publicity intern for Rotaract.
For the past year and a half, Rotaract has been a great way for me to give back to the community to meet new people who want to do the same thing. These people have helped me grow as a person, and it’s simply been a wonderful experience being around them.
This year, I decided to apply to be the publicity intern, to further my involvement in the club as well as to gain some leadership experience. Luigi’s Corner was created this winter quarter, as one of my tasks as an intern. I was given the freedom to write about anything as long as it’s Rotary/Rotaract related. In the future I plan on writing about Rotaract events we have here in Irvine, to give everyone an inside look into them.
I look forward to writing more of these. There probably won’t be an entry for the next two weeks, because of finals and spring break, but I will resume week one of spring quarter. Good luck on finals, and see you again soon!
